Among his peers and pet owners alike, Dr. Albert Angel has earned a reputation as one of the best veterinarians in South Florida. His valued service and dedication, his extensive knowledge and impressive skills in treating sick or injured animals, as well as his holistic approach in maintaining wellness and longevity in his furry patients, are reasons Dr. Angel has long been regarded as the area's "Top Vet".

Dr. Angel has been practicing veterinary medicine in South Palm Beach County since 1984. He is a graduate from UNAM University of Mexico, who received his DVM degree in 1981 and has been passionate about his profession ever since. He experienced working at Crandon Park Zoo in Key Biscayne for a short term, prior to his externship at Animal Medical Center in Manhattan. His main focus in his vocation has been to educate owners as to the proper medical care for the wellbeing of their furry family member.

He is a member of Feline Practitioners Association and a member of the Veterinary Laser Society. His special interests include internal medicine for dogs and cats and emergency care. He started his private practice in Palm Beach County in 1985, where he has extended to multiple locations and combined his knowledge with other experienced associates. As Medical Director and Chief of Staff, Dr. Angel offers at all three hospitals surgical and laser procedures, dentistry, emergency critical care, radiology and other medical services our four-legged friends require to maintain wellness.

He is a devoted family man married for over 27 years with three children who are the main focus for his life. Among his favorite breeds are German Shepherds and Labradors, though at the moment a domestic long hair cat and a miniature Italian Greyhound that goes by the name of "Beamer" rule his animal kingdom. When time allows, he enjoys working out at the gym and grilling at home with his family. He looks forward to many more years of enjoying his family and his passion for animals, as he looks forward to meeting new patients.

Dr. Lisa Ciucci

Dr. Lisa Ciucci joined our medical team in March 2009 as both surgeon and general practitioner. Prior to moving to sunny South Florida, Dr. Ciucci acted as the primary surgeon for a busy multi-doctor hospital in Richland, Mich. A graduate of Michigan State University, her collegiate training focused on surgical opportunities and she has since completed countless hours of continuing education in cruciate repair, more commonly known as knee surgery. Her career focus remains both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery with a twist of internal medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University while playing varsity volleyball, which she now enjoys playing on the sand at the beach. Her true passion has always been working with rescue leagues and local shelters where she adopted her three furry loves – a beagle, a cat and a three-legged greyhound.
